More info on Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes:
Natural and unmistakably Australian, Hughsey’s laconic style thinly disguises one of this country’s fastest comedic minds. Turning everyday foibles into rich and hilarious routines has made Hughesy the biggest name in Australian comedy. For 12 years Hughesy made up one half of Melbourne’s Nova breakfast team and for 5 years he co-hosted Network Ten’s The Project, not to mention 11 years on the fan’s favorite footy show, Before the Game..
Former Warrior Bailey Kenter has made headlines in not only his football state of Utah, but in the whole Nation. Although mostly recognised as a punter, Bailey also plays Kicker, Wide Receiver and Corner for his Layton Christian Academy Eagles.
Although Bailey’s season is over, Bailey has been named the #1 High School Punter in the Nation and the #16 ranked athlete overall in the state of Utah. The Warriors are very proud of what Bailey has achieved and have been amazed at the progress in which he has consistently performed each week for his Eagles. Bailey has recently been ranked as a 3-Star punter, holding an 84 rating.
Former Warrior Sean O’Kane is currently punting for Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, and punting very well. Although Sean is sharing snaps with future NFL hopeful Zachary Lopez, he has earned punts on a team that currently holds 3 punters and has booted a career long and team year long 68 yard punt in their loss to FIU.
Adam Gotsis has come a long way since Australian Rules Football. (Getty Images)
Former Warrior Adam Gotsis knew when he left Gridiron Victoria for Division I College that he would need to work his backside off to earn a spot in Georgia Tech’s defensive system. That was a challenge he was ready for as he left his family & friends and boarded a plane to Atlanta.
Adam has shown exactly what hard work and persistence can do as he defied the odds very early in his career at Georgia Tech by avoiding red shirt and actually getting valuable game time in his rookie season. He never looked back after that.
Not only has Adam won a starting spot along the defensive line for the Yellow Jackets, but he has been an invaluable part of the defense and a leader on the team. NFLDraftScout.com have written an article after the Nation’s 16th-ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets defeated rivals and 9th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs 30-24 (which can be found here) describing Gotsis as “a bit raw” with “untapped potential”.
